KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of the Nepali Congress—including office bearers and former office bearers—will be held today to finalize the agendas for the party’s upcoming Central Working Committee meeting.
According to Jeevan Pariyar, Joint General Secretary of the party, the meeting has been called to discuss the agendas that will be presented at the Central Working Committee session scheduled for October 12.
Today’s meeting will deliberate on several major issues, including the party’s regular general convention, preparations for the upcoming elections, and the issue of restoring the dissolved Parliament.
The Central Working Committee meeting, set to take place in Kathmandu, is expected to outline the Nepali Congress’s organizational strategies, review current political developments, and discuss future plans in light of the approaching parliamentary election schedule for March 5, 2026.
