KATHMANDU: A meeting between Prime Minister Sushila Karki and the chief ministers of all seven provinces is currently underway at Baluwatar.
According to the Prime Minister’s Press Advisor, Ram Bahadur Rawal, the discussion has been convened to enhance coordination and dialogue between the federal and provincial governments in the changed political context.
The meeting is attended by Chief Minister Hikmat Bahadur Karki of Koshi Province, Jitendra Sonal of Madhes, Indra Bahadur Baniya of Bagmati, Surendra Raj Pandey of Gandaki, Chet Narayan Acharya of Lumbini, Yamlal Kandel of Karnali, and Kamal Bahadur Shah of Sudurpaschim Province.
Rawal stated that Prime Minister Karki called the meeting with the aim of strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding between the federal and provincial levels of government.
