KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has emphasized that judicial services cannot be stopped even for a single day.
She made this statement during a joint meeting with the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors and a delegation from the Supreme Court.
The meeting was convened to discuss alternative arrangements after the Kathmandu District Court building was damaged.
Supreme Court Chief Registrar Bimal Paudel requested the Civil Aviation Authority to make its Babarmahal building available for court use.
In response, Prime Minister Karki instructed that judicial services must continue uninterrupted, and directed the authority to provide the building temporarily.
An agreement has been reached for immediate provisional use, following the Prime Minister’s guidance for coordination between the court and the authority.
