KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki will deliver her first national address at 6 p.m. this evening (Thursday) since assuming office as head of the interim government.

According to officials, the televised speech will include festive greetings for Dashain along with key messages on the government’s national priorities.

A Gen Z leader close to the Prime Minister, said the address is expected to run for about an hour. Karki was appointed Prime Minister on September 12.

On the same day, she recommended the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR), which was endorsed by President Ram Chandra Paudel.
