KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called on all citizens to register in the voter list to secure their right to vote.

Posting on social media, she said, “The government is preparing to hold parliamentary elections on March 5, 2026. I urge everyone to register in advance to ensure their voting rights.”

The reminder comes amid rising political tensions, with CPN (UML) Chairman KP Oli openly opposing the elections and demanding the reinstatement of parliament, while other parties, including Nepali Congress, remain divided over the election process.
