KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a Cabinet meeting.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting is scheduled for 6 PM this evening. Today’s meeting is expected to discuss the government’s regular activities, reviews, and the appointment of the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Prior to the Cabinet meeting, the Governor Recommendation Committee is set to meet. It is anticipated that the committee may recommend three names for the Governor position.

The Recommendation Committee includes Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, former Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, and Poshraj Pandey.
