KATHMANDU: Following the Gen Z protests and casualties among demonstrators, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli convened a meeting with several cabinet ministers at his official residence.

According to the Secretariat of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, the Prime Minister held discussions with Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Defense Minister Manbir Rai, and Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba.

The meeting comes as authorities assess the escalating situation after violent clashes during the protests, which have led to multiple injuries and deaths.
