PM Oli to table economic report in National Assembly today

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly of the Federal Parliament is set to convene today at 1:15 p.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to present the Government of Nepal’s Economic Report for the fiscal year 2023–24, in accordance with Article 53 of the Constitution.

The session will also feature a Q&A segment, during which ministers from the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Youth and Sports will respond to lawmakers’ oral questions.

In addition, Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, will introduce the Motion Picture Bill, 2024.

Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya, will propose discussions on the “Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2023,” which was forwarded by the House of Representatives.
