Polarization among leftist forces crucial: Coordinator Dahal

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, has asserted that elections must occur as scheduled to address the current political instability, uncertainty and economic challenges facing the nation.

During an event in Kathmandu on Friday, Dahal urged the government and all political parties to ensure elections. Underscoring the need for unity among communist factions, the former Prime Minister noted that polarization among leftist groups was based on shared ideologies.

Safeguarding national sovereignty, advancing national development and uniting all communists are present urgency, according to him.

On the occasion, Joint Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal viewed his party was dedicated to fostering good governance and enhancing the welfare of citizens, which resulted in growing trust and confidence in the party nationwide.

Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha announced that parties sharing similar ideologies and principles would continue uniting.
