KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal held a meeting at Prachanda’s residence to discuss recent political developments.

The two leaders reviewed the evolving national and international political situation, leftist polarization, efforts toward unifying communist forces, and the impact of global conflicts between major powers.

Unified Socialist Standing Committee member Alok Rayamajhi stated that the discussions also covered the government’s performance and explored possibilities of cooperation and unity between the two parties, including ideological alignment and procedural aspects.
