KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has stressed that anyone who has made mistakes within the party must undertake self-criticism.

He made this statement on Sunday while speaking briefly to journalists after the Standing Committee meeting.

During the meeting, Prachanda reminded Deputy General Secretary Janardan Sharma to reflect on and take responsibility for the internal matters that had been leaked outside the party.

Sharma responded by saying that if Prachanda himself is willing to conduct self-criticism in the meeting, he too is prepared to do the same.

Earlier in the meeting, other leaders had also urged Sharma to take accountability through self-criticism as part of addressing the party’s current challenges.
