KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has pledged full support to address senior citizens’ concerns.

During a meeting with the National Federation of Senior Citizens, he was urged to help resolve issues like lack of citizenship for over 2,500 elderly, old-age allowance reform, transport discounts, and representation in the National Assembly.

Calling the demands just, Prachanda assured, “I’ll do my best. The Maoist Centre will take positive steps to address them.”
