KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stirred political debate once again, signaling what he called a “new revolution” during an International Labor Day event in Kathmandu.
“We are preparing for a new movement, a fresh campaign, a new revolution,” he told attendees at the program organized by the All-Nepal Trade Union Federation. “The party is ready to lead—and you, the workers, must also be prepared.”
Though Prachanda stopped short of detailing what this revolution entails, he referenced the recent Postal Highway campaign, claiming it reached 10 million people and revitalized party energy.
