KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has been admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj after experiencing health complications.

According to officials, the President suddenly suffered from a severe headache and vomiting during a meeting with Gen Z representatives at Sheetal Niwas on Saturday, prompting his immediate hospitalization.

President Paudel will now hold discussions with the Gen Z delegation on Monday instead.

Earlier in the day, some Gen Z supporters had gathered outside the President’s Office, chanting slogans in dissatisfaction after learning about the scheduled meeting.

Just a day earlier, President Paudel had held talks with Prime Minister and political party representatives, urging them to begin preparations for the March 2026 elections.
