KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has granted additional responsibilities to the Nepali ambassadors to Australia and Malaysia.

On the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, President Paudel appointed Chitra Lekha Yadav, the current Nepali Ambassador to Australia, as the non-residential ambassador to New Zealand as well.

Similarly, Dr. Netra Prasad Timilsina, the Nepali Ambassador to Malaysia, has been appointed as the non-residential ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, according to a statement issued by the Office of the President on Thursday.
