KATHMANDU: Madhes Province Chief Sumitra Subedi Bhandari has officially called on political parties in Madhesh Province to form a new government.

She has set a deadline of 4 p.m. on Wednesday for parties to establish a majority government in line with Article 168, Clause 2 of the Constitution.

Earlier today, Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh resigned from his position.
