KATHMANDU: On Friday, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) submitted a memorandum to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), urging thorough investigation and strict action against corruption.

The letter, addressed to the CIAA chief, is signed by party chairman Rajendra Lingden.

The memorandum states that corruption is spreading like a pandemic in Nepal, citing the commission’s annual report which shows a rising number of complaints, cases, and claimed amounts as evidence of the growing problem.
