KATHMANDU:  In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmakers from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) stood in protest as soon as the session commenced.

As soon as Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the beginning of the session, RSP lawmakers rose from their seats in opposition.

Following this, Speaker Ghimire allocated time for RSP lawmaker Ganesh Parajuli and RPP lawmaker Roshan Karki to express their views. Lawmaker Parajuli demanded an investigation into the visit visa issue. RPP lawmaker Roshan Karki also called for a thorough inquiry into matters concerning visit visas.

When Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli began his address during the meeting, lawmakers from both opposition parties walked out of the session.
