KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have announced they will boycott Prime Minister Oli’s address at today’s House of Representatives session.
Both parties have long protested in parliament, demanding accountability over the visit visa controversy. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the House during the session beginning at 1 PM.
He will brief lawmakers on his upcoming China visit on Saturday, where he will lead the Nepali delegation to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, following an invitation from President Xi Jinping.
The address will also cover details of the foreign visits and may highlight the government’s stance on the recent Lipulekh-Kalapani border dispute.
