KATHMANDU: The central committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is currently underway at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu.

According to the party’s acting spokesperson Manish Jha, the meeting began this afternoon and is deliberating on several key issues.

Among the primary agendas under discussion are the next steps regarding what the party claims is a “vengeful and false case” filed against party president Rabi Lamichhane, and the alleged involvement of the Home Minister in the ongoing visit visa scandal.

The meeting is also focused on finalizing the party’s future roadmap, including a calendar leading up to its general convention.

Preparations for the party’s third founding anniversary, which falls on Asar 7 (June 21), are also on the agenda, along with other miscellaneous matters.
