Tensions flared over organizational expansion and alleged nepotism in upcoming local election ticket distributions.

Dissatisfied cadres accused lawmakers of pre-deciding tickets and sidelining grassroots workers who built the party.

As the situation spiraled out of control, several MPs—including Ganesh Dhimal, Chandan Singh, Arvind Sah, and Rahabar Ansari—were forced to flee the venue for their safety.
