SURKHET: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) made its election manifesto public in Karnali Province on Thursday, organizing a mass gathering at Ghantaghar Chowk in Surkhet.
Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane, Senior Leader Balendra Shah, Vice Chair DP Aryal, and Swarnim Wagle jointly unveiled the document before supporters. The Surkhet event marks the party’s second major election assembly following an earlier program in Dhangadhi.
The manifesto places strong emphasis on expanding the middle class through employment generation and private sector partnership. It outlines commitments to strengthen health insurance, promote merit-based judicial reform, ensure a party-neutral state mechanism, and digitize public services to replace long queues with online systems.
Economically, the party has set ambitious targets, including achieving annual growth of 7 percent, raising per capita income to USD 3,000, transforming Nepal into a middle-income country within a decade, and building a USD 100 billion economy within seven years. It also pledges tax reforms aimed at easing the burden on citizens and businesses.
