Second day of UML Statute Convention commences in Lalitpur

LALITPUR: The second day of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) Statute Convention has commenced.

At the Sunrise Hall in Godavari, Lalitpur, the closed session continues with the presentation of three remaining reports.

Currently, Dr. Bijay Subba, Coordinator of the Election Commission, is presenting a report.

Reports from the Election Commission, the Fiscal Commission and the Discipline Commission are also being presented.After the reports, discussions will be held in ten groups.

On Sunday, each group will present its conclusions. The report presenters will clarify the conclusions derived from the group discussions, after which Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to formally address and close the convention.

Delegates from Koshi, Sudurpashchim, Madhesh, Karnali, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces will discuss in separate groups.

Similarly, special groups have been formed for representatives from the Valley province, various mass organizations, the Contact Coordination Committee, and the diaspora.

On Friday, Chairman KP Sharma Oli presented the political report, Vice-Chairperson Bishnu Paudel submitted the statute amendment proposal, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel presented the organizational report, and Amrit Bohora, Coordinator of the Advisory Council, submitted his report.
