KATHMANDU: A meeting of the heads of security agencies has concluded at Sheetal Niwas.

The meeting, held at the initiative of President Ram Chandra Paudel and coordinated by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, was attended by the chiefs of all four security agencies, the Home Minister, and other ministers.

The discussions focused on the election environment and security arrangements.

All security chiefs expressed readiness to make the necessary security arrangements for the upcoming elections, citing past examples where elections were successfully conducted even under more challenging circumstances.

Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal informed the meeting that necessary resources and logistics for security management were being arranged.

The Prime Minister also briefed the meeting on ongoing dialogues with various political parties.
