KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the CPN (UML) will continue today, with the second-day session scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

Central committee members will once again present their views and suggestions on the special proposal put forward by party chair KP Sharma Oli.

According to Rajendra Gautam, chief of the party’s publicity and publication department, 50 central committee members spoke during Wednesday’s session.

Around 100 members are expected to share their opinions today, and if all take their turns, the meeting could extend longer than planned.

Each central committee member has been allotted three minutes to speak, and the microphone will automatically be turned off after the time limit. The speaking order has been arranged alphabetically.

In Wednesday’s meeting, Chair Oli proposed holding the party’s 11th General Convention in Pokhara from December 12 to 14.
