KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has revoked the suspension of Standing Committee member Dr. Binda Pandey and Central Committee member Ushakiran Timsena.
The decision was made during the party’s Secretariat meeting held on Wednesday.
In December 2024, the UML Secretariat had suspended Pandey and Timsena for six months after they publicly opposed the party’s decision to accept a land donation from businessman Min Bahadur Gurung.
The donated land was intended for the construction of the party’s new headquarters in Kirtipur.
Their remarks were deemed to be against party discipline, leading to their temporary removal from party responsibilities.
