KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has been postponed.

The meeting, which began on Friday at KP Oli’s residence in Bhaktapur, was scheduled to continue today (Saturday) for its second day.

However, news of Chairman KP Sharma Oli falling ill led many leaders who were on their way to attend the meeting to return home.

During the Secretariat meeting, a majority of members reportedly advised Oli to step down from the party leadership.
