KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal–Unified Marxist Leninist) is set to take place today.

The meeting, to be chaired by Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli, will be held at 1:00 PM at the UML headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

According to Dr. Bhisma Adhikari, secretary of the UML central office, the meeting will discuss preparations for the upcoming statute convention, organizational activities of the party, and current political issues.

The UML has decided to hold its statute convention from Bhadra 20 to 22 (September 5–7) at the Sunrise Conference Center in Godawari, Lalitpur.
