KATHMANDU: The secretariat meeting of the Unified Socialist is scheduled to take place today to set the dates for the party’s standing committee, politburo and central committee meetings.
Party spokesperson Prakash Jwala told RSS that discussions would be held on the current state of the country, recent political developments, unity among left-socialist parties, and the upcoming election.
The party has stated that it will participate in the election to be held on coming March to protect the democratic system and has emphasized on fair election.
The meeting will endorse cooperation and unity among like-minded parties. He said that the party will finalize unity with the groups within the Socialist Front soon.
