KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the government aspires to see youths become good politicians and lead the nation.
During her address at the post-agreement signing ceremony between the government and Gen Z representatives at the Office of the Prime Minister late this evening, the Prime Minister said, “May all youths stay in the country, explore, and engage in productive employment activities. May they become good politicians and drive the nation forward.
However, a single document is not sufficient to address the aspirations of all.” She added that the consensus document would be published in the national gazette and institutionalized as a historic record.
During the signing ceremony, some Gen Z representatives expressed reservations about the compact.
