PATAN: The Lalitpur Metropolitan City launched the LMC Digital Hatbazaar App on Friday meant for promoting the products of local women entrepreneurs.

The App is aimed at marketing the products and services of women entrepreneurs from the Lalitpur Metropolitan City and to ensure a supply of the goods directly to the consumers at a low cost.

Mayor of Lalitpur Chiribabu Maharjan said that the App was started for the sale and publicity of goods and services in the current age dominated by information technology. He hoped that around 750 groups of women entrepreneurs would be benefited from this intervention.

Mayor Maharjan asked the women entrepreneurs to fully utilize this App and added that this practice could best practice for other local governments too.

The Lalitpur Metropolitan City has targeted to supply the goods of 10 women entrepreneurs in the international market this year.
