KATHMANDU: The first India-Nepal Startup Partnership Network (IN-SPAN) cohort, comprising 24 Nepali startups, concluded on Friday with a valediction ceremony organized by IIT Madras Pravartak.
Shri Munu Mahawar, Additional Secretary (North) at the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, attended as the chief guest. He thanked the IIT Madras ecosystem for hosting the inaugural cohort and congratulated the participants, noting that the initiative would bolster startup collaboration between India and Nepal.
Feedback from participating startups was overwhelmingly positive. Nine startups received offers of investment and incubation at the IIT Madras Incubation Cell and IITM Pravartak.
