KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police Headquarters has transferred 48 Superintendents of Police (SPs).
The transfer decision, announced Wednesday night, will come into effect from September 17. Several district police chiefs have been reshuffled in this transfer.
SP Gautam Mishra of Parsa has been transferred, and Sudip Raj Pathak has been assigned there. SP Narayan Chimariya of Morang has been transferred, with SP Kabita Katwal appointed to replace him.
In Banke, Angur G.C., who had been working at the Crime Investigation Office, has also been transferred. Keshav Kumar Thebe has been transferred to Sunsari, Gautam Kumar KC to Saptari, and Dipak Giri to the Highway Traffic Management Office in Itahari.
