KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel presented insignia to Brigadier Generals Himmat Bahadur Bista and Bishnu Kumar Khadka, who were promoted to the rank of Major General, during a ceremony held today at the army headquarters.

On the same occasion, five senior officers promoted to the rank of Colonel also received their insignia, the Nepal Army’s Directorate of Public Relations and Information reported.

The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Generals other officials, and the families of the promoted officers.
