KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police has recommended five Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) officers for promotion to Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri ranks first on the recommendation list, followed by Sanuram Bhattarai, Om Prasad Adhikari, Shekhar Khanal, and Abinarayan Kafle, who occupy the second to fifth positions, respectively.

The promotion recommendation was approved during a meeting of the Promotion Recommendation Committee held on Sunday.
