KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has appealed to all young people and citizens to exercise restraint by maintaining social harmony and national unity to prevent the current situation from becoming more complicated.

Issuing an appeal today, the Army stated that it is the common responsibility of all of us to protect the country’s historical, cultural, archaeological and national assets. “The Nepal Army is always dedicated to the welfare and security of Nepal and the Nepali people, and is committed to protecting the lives and property of Nepal and the Nepali people, keeping in mind the current evolving situation,” reads the appeal.

Stating that it is analyzing the developments of the ongoing Gen-Z movement in Nepal, the NA has expressed deep sorrow over the irreparable loss of life and property caused during the movement and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The Nepali Army has also expressed its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
