KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property during the ongoing protests, urging all sides to seek a peaceful resolution.
In an official appeal, Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel has called on the protesting groups to come to the table for dialogue.
Paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the movement, the Army extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Army also expressed grief over the irreparable losses caused by the unrest.
