KATHMANDU: A high-level meeting was held at Baluwatar today to assess the current security situation and determine necessary measures.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Home Secretary Rameshwar Dangal, and the heads of all four security agencies attended the meeting.
During the nearly two-hour meeting, security chiefs presented their analyses of the current situation. The meeting also discussed potential security challenges.
After the meeting, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal stated: “We have conducted a detailed analysis of the security situation. Information has emerged that various groups are preparing for demonstrations. Everyone is free to express their political demands responsibly. We have kept the doors of dialogue open to address political issues. We will hold talks with the relevant parties. We seek solutions through dialogue.”
He also urged all parties to present their positions responsibly, considering the current situation.
