ARGHAKACHI: The Seventh Arghakhachi Mahotsav and agriculture, tourism, culture, industrial and trade fair was concluded on Sunday by receiving more than 70,000 visitors.

Organized by Arghakhachi Chamber of Commerce, the event contributed to the promotion of local productions and touristic destinations in the district, the organizer said.

Chairman of Arghakhachi Chamber of Commerce Ashok Shrestha said that more than 70,000 visitors visited the stalls in the event and recorded business of Rs 50 million. He added that 400 business stalls were kept in the trade fair.

The trade event promoted the local cuisines, fruits and locally produced goods as well as the religious and touristic destinations in the district, Chairman Shrestha shared.

“Massive publicity of historical, religious, cultural and natural heritages and business connections of agricultural goods, handicrafts and products of the small and cottage industries were established,” according to Shrestha.
