NAWALPUR: Eight people sustained injuries in two different accidents along the East-West Highway in Gaidakot and Devchuli, Nawalpur.

Seven individuals were injured when a microbus traveling from Dang to Kathmandu met with an accident at Bijaychowk, Gaidakot-8, police reported.

DSP Madhu Nepal from Nawalpur district police office said the injured are receiving treatment at the old Medical College in Chitwan.

In another incident at Pragatinagar, Devchuli Municipality-15, a motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a car with an Indian number plate.

The injured motorcyclist is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chitwan, according to police.
