KATHMANDU: Five people, including four Indian nationals and one Nepali, were rescued after being trapped in a swollen stream near Sundarimai Temple in Sundarijal, Kathmandu.
The incident occurred around 2:30 PM while the devotees were bathing as part of the Bol Bam ritual. A sudden surge in the water level left them stranded midstream.
They were successfully rescued with the help of a team deployed from the Chandan Nath Battalion of the Nepali Army and other security agencies.
