KAILALI: Four teenagers who went missing while swimming in the Khutiya River in Godawari Municipality–9, Kailali, were found dead on Thursday afternoon.

The group, consisting of seven youths, had gone swimming around 2 PM, and three members were rescued safely.

The deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Sakhsham Joshi, 15-year-old Jeb Bhandari, 17-year-old Jadej Bhandari, and 17-year-old Pratik Chaudhary.

Their bodies are being transported to Seti Provincial Hospital. The victims had traveled from Dhangadhi to the river for swimming.

Authorities have stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
