PARSA: A man-eating tiger was taken under control from Amlekhgunj in Bara district on Friday.
The officials of the Parsa National Park, the Nepali Army and the people’s representatives neutralized and caged the human-eating tiger by darting.
Information Officer of Parsa National Park Santosh Kumar Bhagat shared that the man-eating tiger was taken under control from a community forest at Amlekhgunj.
It is said that the tiger killed four people in the past three months. “The tiger was taken under control by darting as the people at Amlekhgunj were under terror,” Bhagat added.
Currently, the tiger is kept at a rescue centre of the national park, according to Information Officer Bhagat.
