CHITWAN:A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle. The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Ram Avtar of Birgunj Metropolitan City-11, Parsa.

According to Rabindra Khanal, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Chitwan, a Bolero (Na3Cha 6610) coming from east to west at Shahichowk, Khairhani Municipality-1, hit a pedestrian last night.

The seriously injured Avtar died at the Old Medical College last night while undergoing treatment. The Bolero and the driver who caused the accident are under police control.
