SURKHET: Students of Usha Bal Vatika Secondary School staged a protest in Birendranagar Municipality on Friday, demanding an impartial investigation into the death of 16-year-old student Inisa BK and strict legal action against those responsible.

The demonstrators marched from the school premises carrying placards reading “Justice for Inisa” and “Punish the guilty” before holding a sit-in outside the District Police Office in Surkhet. Students also staged a brief sit-in in front of the school during the protest.

Protesters stated that the circumstances surrounding Inisa’s death appear suspicious and urged state authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and reveal the facts of the case while ensuring justice for the victim’s family.

According to preliminary findings, Inisa was discovered unconscious and bleeding in the Janjagaran Community Forest area on March 7. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
