JAJARKOT: Two children drowned while swimming in the Bheri River, and another child remains missing.

The deceased have been identified as Bhagwati Nepali, a 16-year-old daughter of Tek Bahadur Nepali, and Asha Kusari, an approximately 12-year-old daughter of Surendra Kusari, both residents of Manmai, Nalgad Municiplaity in Jajarkot.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Ward No. 8 of Nalagad Municipality.

Surendra Kusari’s 10-year-old son, Mahesh Kusari, is reported missing.
