RAJBIRAJ: Two young girls tragically drowned today in a pond in Hardiya, Surunga Municipality-2 in Saptari.

The victims, aged seven and eleven, lost their lives while bathing in the pond.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Basnet of the District Police Office confirmed the drowning incident.

The girls’ bodies were recovered from the pond with assistance from community members.
