BARA: Two people died in a motorcycle accident in Bara.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijayaraj Pandit of the District Police Office, Bara, the accident occurred on the Birgunj–Pathlaiya road section on Sunday afternoon when two motorcycles collided. Another person was seriously injured in the crash.

The motorcycles involved were a Ba 90 Pa 6794 traveling from Simra to Pathlaiya and a Ba 06–003 Pa 1753 coming from the opposite direction.

The victims, 28-year-old Mahesh Pandit from Saptari and 25-year-old Roshan Chaudhary from Rautahat, died during treatment.

Pandit passed away at LS Neuro Hospital in Parwanipur, while Chaudhary died at Provincial Hospital, Kalaiya.

Also seriously injured in the accident was 34-year-old Bhupendra Chaudhary from Aishwarya Chowk, who was traveling on the same motorcycle.

He is currently undergoing treatment at LS Hospital.
