Two ministers’ vehicles collide in Kailali, no injuries reported

DHANGADHI: Two separate vehicles carrying ministers from Sudurpaschim Province collided with each other in Kailali district.

The accident occurred in Lamki, involving the vehicle of Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Surendra Pal and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Hira Singh Sarki.

According to police, the vehicles collided in Lamki while en route from the provincial capital Godawari to Chisapani to welcome Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The vehicles with registration numbers SE 1 JHA 330 (carrying Sarki) and BA 2 JHA 1419 (carrying Pal) collided with each other.

Though both vehicles sustained damage, no human casualties were reported, police said.

Prime Minister Oli is visiting Sudurpaschim Province to inaugurate the newly constructed Katase Hydropower Project located in Janaki Rural Municipality-9 of Kailali.
