SURKHET: A woman has tragically lost her life in an attack by a wild tiger in Bheriganga Municipality, Surkhet.

The victim has been identified as Ganga Saru, 57, from Gerwani in ward no. 5 of the municipality, according to Sudhir Raj Shahi, Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Office.

As per Ganga’s husband, Nar Bahadur Saru, she had left home at 8:00 am on Tuesday and was found dead by her granddaughters who had gone to collect fodder grass at Salghari, located 100 meters north of their residence.
